David Kermode - aka ‘MrVinosaurus’

David is a journalist, writer, broadcaster and international wine judge with two decades of experience in print, online, TV and radio and a passion for the drinks world.

Starting his career in local journalism, David became a radio broadcaster at LBC, then moved to TV, where he edited the award-winning BBC Breakfast, Channel 5 News and also worked in senior management roles at Sky and ITV before gaining a diploma at London’s Wine and Spirits Education Trust.

David appears regularly on ITV’s ‘This Morning’, hosts ‘The Drinking Hour with David Kermode‘ on Food FM, co-presents a monthly wine hour on BBC local radio and has appeared on Sky News. David is the wine columnist for Club Oenologique and also writes for trade publications The Buyer and Harpers, as well as consumer title Waitrose Drinks and also has his own website, Vinosaurus. On social media, he’s well known as Mr Vinosaurus.

David regularly presents corporate tastings and consumer masterclasses, chairs industry events and conferences, co-presents the awards ceremony for the International Wine and Spirits Competition, for whom he also judges, and works as a consultant for a number of wine brands.
