Spring wines for the BBC’s Bill Buckley

If you’re tuned in and tempted to try one of the wines that Bill and I enjoyed on air, here are the details:

For a Coronation sparker, Tesco English Sparkling by Balfour Winery (£21 but 25% off six or more until end of Easter Monday at Tesco).

To taste that distinctive Sancerre terroir, you can’t get much better than Domaine Serge Laloue Sancerre Cuvée Silex 2020 (£21 at The Wine Society).Yalumba

For a roasted Easter lamb, or even with a light chill, Barossa Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 (£14.96 at Wine Direct and a number of other independent wine sellers including York Wines online).

Henriques & Henriques 10 Year Old Madeira Malvasia (Around £21 at independent wine merchants including Tanners Wine and also at The Wine Society *apologies for the size of the bottle in the picture, which is what’s known as a press sample: the usual bottle size is 50cl so it is better value than it looks in the snap!*).

Enjoy!
