Talking Christmas tipple with BBC London’s Jo Good

Thanks to BBC London’s Jo Good for a fun chat about Christmas wine. For those wondering what the ‘entry level’ orange wine I was banging on about was, it’s available at M&S and it’s Tblvino Qvevris, from eastern Georgia, made the old-fashioned way (basically in clay pots, buried in the ground). As I said to Jo, it’s not a wine for the faint-hearted, and it’s definitely one to match with food (something big and meaty). M&S say on their website that it can also be an aperitif, but I beg to differ. If you’ve never tried an orange wine, here’s an affordable place to start (£9.99).
